The Cultured Roommates Post #1

As Annie and I were doing homework in our rooms tonight Annie had a revelation as she read her classical literature compilation for Dr Jones' World Literature Class: we need more "cultured" and un-egocentric (yes, I just made that a word) people in the world. At first, we thought we might write a book about being cultured and un-egocentric...but that probably won't happen. Instead we're starting this blog. You may be asking yourself, what qualifies Annie Prescott and Racie Miller to write a blog entitled "The Cultured Roommates." Well, that is indubitably a valid question. My answer is four fold: 1) I used the word "indubitably" in the previous sentence; 2) Annie drinks tea; 3) We're roommates; 4) Annie drinks tea.

Peripheral Inspirations:

- The movie "Julie and Julia." Julie's blog about cooking inspired Annie and me. We may have some recipes on our website. Easy recipes. No stuffed ducks or beef bourguignon.
